    Description

    Super rare and cool 69cal Confederate Arkansas Hog bullet.  They don't call them hog for nothing,  these bullets are huge ! These bullets are only found in Trans Mississippi sites.  This particular one was dug in Camden Arkansas by my friend Meggs Brainard . I bought it from him over 20 years ago and its  been in my collection ever since.  This particular specimen was light fired and shows faint rifling marks.  It has a VERY SLICK AND GLASSY PATINA.  As you can see in the pictures,  due to firing, the base has been slightly tapered but the base is still round.  It has a deep cylindrical base . This is an attractive bullet and displays well no matter which way you  turn it.  But  it is not a perfect one due to  firing . So you get a chance to on a  legendary Hog bullet at a fraction of what they sell for,  usually around 600.00 for a perfect one .
