    Description

    Wonderful antique cast iron urn!!! Circa 1840. Outstanding large urn with great early design and bearded Greek God (?) heads on the handles. Condition is good for its age. Does have rust through out and inside rust chips. Has been painted and shows wear and loss. This urn is solid and not falling apart and would look outstanding in a yard for display. Stands 29 1/2 inches high, top opening is 20 inches wide and base is 12 inches square. The stone plynth ( not original to the urn) is vintage and stands 9 inches high. Does have paint loss and small edge chips. This piece is extremely heavy and one must make arrangements to pick it up. Any questions please ask. Best of luck!
